I would like the ability to turn off the new columns by right clicking the table header like I can with the default ones.
For example, I added "Line" and "File" to the Message, but at the moment, I don't want to see them in the table.

Re: Work with Putty Pagent for SCP operations
Putty can export an OpenSSH private key file, so if that is easier to parse or use, that would be acceptable too.
Thanks for continuing to look into it.

Re: Error logging into remote machine and retries?
Did you ever get a response from JSch about retries? One of my coworkers commented yesterday that he won't use LogMX because he is worried that he will lock the account we use to login to the server with. If you could allow us to load in a private SSH key into LogMX and pass that along to JSch, that...

Create installation document
Please create an installation document that is distributed with your software and is easily found on the website. It can be a simple text file if necessary. Some IT support people at my company get this software and don't know what to do with it. I know there is a forum post that says to simply "unz...

Problem using Log4j tag settings
I like to modify my Log4j pattern parser to include some tags in the message. I normally turn on File & Line in the Message field.
However, when I restart LogMX v1.3.3, it forgets these custom tag settings. It worked in v1.3.2.
Is this a bug?

Trouble with filters
I am trying to use filters and I'm having a problem with more than 2 rules. I've never had this problem before, but maybe it showed up in v1.3.3? The filters I setup are: Message contains Caching OR Message like .*Got.*bytes.* OR Message contains Releasing The last filter about finding the text "Rel...

Feature Request: Bookmark log files
I have a common set of servers and log files I often need to examine. This includes log files for servers in the following (4) environments: personal development team developer testing user testing production I also have at least 4 log files per installation. That is 16 log files per project. Our co...

I just found this message which helps me know which files to copy: http://www.logmx.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19 I would still like to have LogMX do the import because I don't want to run into trouble if the config format changes between versions and I blindly copy the logmx.properties file to the n...

Feature Request: Upgrade process improvements
Here are some ideas that should make the upgrading process easier for me: 1) Have a way for a new LogMX version to import the settings from the previous version (parser definitions, network settings, etc). I prefer that this be done automatically, but a manual method would be good too. 2) Allow the ...

Switch to next parser when no entry found after x lines
I have some debug log messages that sometimes grow over 1000 lines. I would like to set the
Switch to next parser when no entry found after x lines
option to a larger value. Maybe have an editiable dropdown list so I can type in a value?

Feature Request: Find next visible entry
I opened a log file and set many packages to "hidden". I then did a search, and marked all the entries. I wanted to use "Find Next" or "Go To Next Mark" to cycle through the found entries, but I keep getting popup dialogs that warn me that the next entry is hidden. Many times I have hidden entries b...
